This week I’ve brought a few different foods; some pearl cous-cous add well as some plain tomato paste and morocan spice mix to go with it, “breakfast” buiscuts, flat bread and some Indian curry packet that was sitting there in the kitchen of the backpackers unopened. I also ripped some nice-looking brown rice that happened to be sitting next to it.

I assume that whoever bought the curry and rice have already left but really, who honestly gives a shit anyway; it’s something I wouldn’t have thought to buy while out grocery shopping and it looked good, so in the pack it went. I feed the rice I couldn’t carry to the birds; Sparrows, Starlings and Pigeons ate it while I watched em.

I also brought a few other different things but can’t remember off the top of my head, as well as the usual staples: coffee, milk, pasta, a few types of cheese etc, ,.

Most of note are the three Bananas and two Tomatoes. I’ll eat the tomatoes on bread rolls tonight and tomorrow and the Bananas should still have a few days on em. Whichever nocturnal visitors come tonight are in for a treat of course: fresh tomato. I’m pretty certain none of these animals would’ve tasted such a thing before, and since I won’t be able to fit the whole thing into one roll, I’ll put the leftovers outside for them.

The first Currawong pays a visit. Gave him some flat bread and gingerbread buttons, which he stuffed his beak with and flew off.
